Join a Board

In order to run for one of the elected positions in the spring elections a student must meet the following:

  • Be in good academic and financial standing
  • Returning candidates must have fulfilled the duties of their previous term
  • Have attended half of the monthly CMSC general body meetings prior to the election

OR

  • Have attended at least 1 meeting prior to the election and have the endorsement of a full voting member of CMSC

While it is not required to have leadership experience, it is recommend.

CMSC Appointed Positions

In the fall, the CMSC board will take applications for the three appointed CMSC positions (leadership series coordinator, health fair coordinator, webmaster). In order to be eligible, a student only needs to be in good academic standing.

Class Boards

To be eligible to run for a class officer position, a student must:

  • Be in good academic and financial standing
  • Be scheduled to participate in the majority of the curriculum for the given class in the following year
  • Returning candidates must have fulfilled the duties of their previous term
